Well, Annie made it. That's so great. Trigger sounds really beautiful. It's no wonder your Dad bought him. Anyway that's what Dads do when you're not paying attention. They run off and buy things without thinking about it. They really do need us to keep them in line. Don't you agree? I can't wait to see his profile on here. I rode Eddie this morning and my sister rode Prince. Generally, I ride Prince but we decided to switch. Eddie cantered super fast and it was just so amazing. But one of the times he decided to have fun and he started tossing his head and bucking. It was a little scary so I didn't let him have a free rein after that. And then later in the day I went on a bike ride with some friends and my other sister drove Pippin with the cart. He was so good and trotted and cantered his little heart out. He was so desperate to keep up with me. He went about 5 miles and is really tired now. But it's good for him. He's always so full of energy. I'm also glad he behaved because on Sunday I took him out with the bike during a windstorm and he was really naughty. Well, I hope you're having fun with your horses. Here's a vote for you. A Belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Well, I only have one horse, and that's Pippin. But a friend has two draft horses that he likes to drive and he offered for my sister and me to ride them whenever we want. They aren't being ridden and one of them had never been ridden before. That's the one that I ride. He's a Belgian/Standardbred cross and the other is a black Percheron that's 18.2hh high. He's the biggest horse I've ever ridden. They're both really nice to ride and very powerful. We ride them once a week. Pippin's doing really well. He's well-behaved most of the time but on Sunday I let go of the cart for a few seconds to get him an apple from the tree we were passing and he decided to take off. He wasn't scared. He was just trotting down the road. I yelled at him to stop so he sped up and cantered down the road for a couple of miles. I had to jog the whole way and when I finally caught up with him he was grazing by the road with the cows staring at him. What a bad boy. I'm really going to have to keep an eye on him. I'm just happy that no cars came! It sounds like it would be fun to trail ride in FL but I'm not sure that I would like the weather. I did get to ride with my sister a couple of days after we were supposed to. Of course, it was fun. If you want to put videos on YouTube you need to make an account. You can set it so that no one knows who you are and all personal information can be hidden.
