This weekend was great!! Guess what?!?! I got to talk to Lady's old owner...the girl we bought her from =]
It has been years cense we last talked. She was very happy to hear that Lady was doing well. Its so cool that we both grew up with the same horse.
She e-mailed me a picture of her and Lady at the All American Youth Horse Show in Columbus. I uploaded it, Lady looks so cute !!LOL!!

your horse is really nice, keep showing. My niece has shown our gelding gypsy and his first show (30 days training) he came out and went in a class of 11 horses, Jr. Western Pleasure and took 6th place, then the next weekend she took him to a Game show, he did, pole weaving, keyhole, speed dash, barrels and 4 in a line, he didn't win that weekend, but he never shied away from anything and he completed everything without being DQ'd, showing him was so much fun, even though I was only watching.
I like your horse.

Heyy... Everyone who see's this message should really listen to what I have to say... It will help you understand your horse forever!!...... My friends horses are truely great... All of them, Jazzy, Merrylags and Sunny!! And one of her horses... Jazzy, has such a great realationship with her that its beautiful... Next time we do this with Jazzy and with my horse I will video tape it for you... And what we do with our horses is probably the greatest way to form a realationship with your horse... I will notify you when we get the videos of it... And I really think you should all watch it... I taught it to her, for I do this with my horse and I think it is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen... I want to show the world how to speak to their horses in thier language...

thanks soo much for leaving Curly her first vote! Left you a vote as well! Please vote for Little Diamond Skip! We are going for AUGUST HOTM and 1000 votes. Here is the reason I think he deserves it now Skipper was out in the round pen for some exercise. I think you know how big his jaws are since he's a stallion, well I walk out to the pen to go get Skipper and his head is out. I walk up to him and realize that he was stuck. I thought, no problem, I'll just help him get his head out. well that didn't go to well. when I walked in the pen he pulled back so hard that his vertebrae pretty much went through the top of his neck...i rushed him to the vet. And he was in surgery for 6 to 8 hours. Madii, Pleasant Grove, UT.

I am deeply moved and humbled by the attention I've received this week! Some of you know I've recently lost 2 horses, battled laminitis with Peekaboo and am preparing for my son leaving to serve in the Army reserves in Iraq for one year. The support and attention I've received from my HC friends has warmed my heart and eased my pain. A special thanks to Gypsee/Frost for the tribute to my mares Rose and Sugar, to Stormy for campaigning to get them HOTD, to Pippin and DC friend Takoda, cousin Miki who all faithfully voted for me in VHS, and to special emails from Navajo and Petite Fleur during my grief and in my victory.
