We borrowed her mom to breed and I got the foal. Sadly she became ill and was put down. She wasn't even old enough to ride or start training yet..

that's terrible I'm sorry to hear that. That's alot to go through. He was so young. I was too young to remember what was wrong with candy but it wasn't as bad as yours. yeah I had a situation kind of like that. When my mare Sadie had her foal, Drifter, she tried to kill him and left him to me and my neighbor to mother. He was the sweetest little thing ever and used to sleep with his head in my lap and everything. When he was 10 months old he wrapped his foot around a downed hot wire and tore through his tendon.
