Big hi to all. Jessica came out Wednesday with her boyfriend, David. Sadie was bad. While Jessica picked her hooves, Sadie yanked her back hoof away. She bucked a couple of times, too, when Jessica rode her. She did okay with me. The strap on the saddle pinched a bruise on the inside of my left knee. Shouldn't have worn shorts. Found the missing fly mask, too. Jessica and I dumped Sadie's water trough to clean it out, and there it was. It had sunk to the bottom of the trough. I didn't think to check there. Monday was so awesome! Sadie got a good workout. Now Austin wants to ride. It'll be his first time on a horse. David's coming over today to work Sadie some more. I'm excited. I'm looking forward to another ride. Yahoo! Now I'm a cowgirl. Now I gotta get some boots. And the 3 are getting along good. A butt kicking or 2 at mealtime, but good.... Lightning's such a good boy. David rode him bareback with just his halter on. My turn!! When I hug Lightning, I feel like a little girl hugging her big red teddy bear. Someone told me to give Lightning back to Mark because he's too old and to get a young horse. I have a young horse now and Lightning's not going anywhere. .. I do need a new saddle, but that's going to be in the spring, too. Someday I'll get everything done that I need to do. ...And I got offered another horse! For free. I had to say no. We are racking right along with Tuesday votes for friends:) Monday started wet and ended wet, but in between all that Fancy and I had a pretty good day. I groomed Fancy and hand walked her around the neighborhood after lunch time and we just had fun. It was soo cool. This cool weather is making my elbows ache, can't wait for the warm weather to return:)

Fancy floating by with a vote on a soggy day;) Fancy is getting a few days break now from training. When we start over we can start fresh and better. Our last session was aweful because I didn't follow through with pre-ride ground work. Fancy was not concentrating on listening and she was heavy and kept drifting to the outside. I didn't do the pre-ride because my husband willing to record us and he says hurry up;( I won't hurrry any more because it messes up our hard work. And our session was recorded but it was aweful;( I loaded it on my flickr account if you want to see it. If you view the video, keep in mind that is not how she behaves when we do this calmly and with pre-ride groundwork. But if you have any suggestions please let me know. One friend has suggested I lift my stirrups:)

Hey! How are you? I'm great! I'm really sorry about Noel. That picture is really sad....... We did a lot of showmanship work today. When we went to the barn a bunch of my friends were there to so we had a pony party and all rode together. I am really nervous and excited! On Friday me and 2 of my friends are going to spend the night at the barn because Saturday is my first show on Crystal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORSE FOR SALE; IS NOW SOLD
SOLD. Had to sell Navada because I was getting too far behind on bording fee. My Mom and I had 3 horses we pay bording on (2 mine and 1 my mom's). So I sold 1 of mine. Also sold him because if my other horse has a baby I want to keep it. Need to start saving money for new baby now. Jackson is running for Horse Of The Day.
Jackson is running for HOTD. Please help him he really deserves it. He is a 16.2, nine year old Oldenburg from Washington state! He is a spectacular mover and jumper. PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE VOTE FOR HIM. I have LA Winter in two weeks and I want to make it by then! Please help me out. If you do I will be very happy. Thanx!
