Deacon is kicking up his heals with joy! That picture was taken at Mccown Valley Lake Whitney Texas-he loves to ride there. There is 3200 achers to ride with camp gounds for horses. There are stalls and pinic areas at each cite. WOnderful place and Deacon is relaxing and grazing before we took off riding again! dont forget mental health as well as phsical health! this will make your horse less spooky! bombproofing your horse with traps and flags and stuff will help you bond and have better times together. so get creative and use anything you can think of! and have fun and be safe!

WOW...Thank you all for HOTD! I had a blog all ready for today, and after I signed in and saw Levy & Daisy in the spotlight I thought I would save it for tomorrow. I just read an e-mail from Shari. They had a bad storm blow through that took most of the roof off their house. They have been without power and just got it back today. Shari and Daisy had just brought Levy & Buddy in and Daisy filled all the water buckets. They were in the tack room of the barn when the winds came through. Shari & Daisy were stuck in the tack room. The wind blew so hard they couldn't get the door open! When it was over they got out to see part of the roof gone. Everyone, 2 legged and 4 legged family members are all fine. I let Daisy know her boy is HOTD today. I'm sure this has put a big smile on her face. Thanks to all:) Love you guys! Joey & Crew Come visit me, Cheap Date (Buddy) & Daisy n Levy.

my own horse ginger! shes taught me sooo much and is sooo strong and she never gives up!

today i made a treat jar for ginger. i taught it was soo cute i had to share! just clean out an old salsa jug ( plastic) or other plastic jug. glue on a label made of constrution paper and use perment marker and glitter to decorate. if you like you can make a circle of beads around the handle so it can hand on fences. finaly fill with horse cookies,peppermints and pellets and hang!

Sorry I didn’t make it on yesterday!! I had a really busy day!!! I had the horse show and I tell you I am sooo proud of Mac!! We got first in every class we entered in Halter, Western and English!! Then after the horse show we went to the rodeo!! So I had a great day and I will upload a few new pics of Mac!!! Anyways thanks to the people who are supporting me on my HOTM run!! Leaving a vote. I just want to thank everyone for voting and congrulating Ransom on his HOTD win. Today I put Ransom and Sugar out in the big pasture today. They did pretty good. At first Sugar was squealing and making a big show. Then she settled down. When the first sniffed each other Sug took off running and Ransom ran after her. He started trying to herd her and then they kicked at each other. They are both fine. Everytime Sug started acting all silly Ransom would just look at her like "What are you doing?" Then he'd just go back to grazing. By the end of the afternoon they were grazing kinda close to each other. I moved Ransom to the small pen and keeping Sug in the big pasture for the night like we have been doing. Once in the small pasture Ransom got down and rolled. I wish I had a camera to get some pics of him rolling!! I have never seen a horse roll from one side to the other! Sugar usually just rolls on one side. Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday. How do you put all of those diifferent marks on the horse's name and stuff. Like the horseshoes, hearts,dimonds, and the wavy lines. please help me figure this out. i am realy confused. Your horse are so cute. i am totaly with you on stopping horse abuse. It is so TERRIBLE that people would do that kind of thing to such a buetiful animal. What could the horses have done to them that was that bad. i feel so bad for the horse for to reasons. One they have to suffer like this. Two they can not tell anyone what is happening and how they feel. HORSE ABUSE NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is a vote. Come visit me, Spring.

GALAWAYO WANTS HOTD!!!!!!!!!
Gallaw- ayo was left tyed to one of the round pens at the stable and there was hay next to him but the tyed his head up to high and tight that he could not reach it so he was there for im not sure.. what looked like weeks before we bought the place.. the only reasone we found him alive was my dog came running up to him and then went and pulled me over to yonkers. we also know that he is from yonkers cause of his hoof brand that he had... this is what happened to one of the horses that i own his name is Gallawayo please vote for him for horse of the day!!Come visit me, MindFreak918\\+++, Aladins Grace\\+++, Gallawayos Sultan\\++, Im A Gona Slide\\$$ & Scatt Katt\\++.

Hey I generally don’t campaign for people to get HOTD but this one is very important to me. A few days ago my best friend Em who has a horse Diego helped to get my horse Cody elected HOTD when I needed the cheering up. It really lifted my spirits and now Cody is starting to get better & we no longer are looking at putting him down. Anyways, back to the focus of this blog, last week Em made the mistake of getting too comfortable with one of the horses at our barn and ran behind him to give him a hug or something and he double barreled her in the gut. She flew 15 ft and landed on her head in the gravel driveway. She had a concussion of course, she bit almost all the way thru her tongue, partially collapsed a lung, and had to have her spleen removed because it wouldn’t stop bleeding and those are just the major things. She has colorful bruises and scrapes, she had a few loose teeth and a broken heart because she cannot ride for at least 8 weeks. The Dr. broke down and sed that she could sit on a horse in 3 weeks but she couldn’t “ride” for 8. So she is a little down right now because she cant do much and misses riding all ready so I thought that it wud be really cool if we could get her horse HOTD to raise her spirits. Please help me surprise her by getting her HOTD. She wont be on until sun & ill make sure that if she wins HOTD that she goes on but I was really hoping for Sunday cuz she will b out of town on Sat. anyways, Im rambling on now but please please vote for her, I know it would mean a lot to her. so cute! Hello, everyone! Today I would like you to meet Boo Boo Magoo. He was a 7 year old Medicine Hat Pinto gelding who was very much loved by his owner. Boo Boo liked to play and get dirty. He was ridden western, and loved to eat everything! Sadly, on April 14,2007, Boo Boo colicked. The vet came right away, and though it seemed he was getting better, he had a stroke, and passed away.
