Thanks so much for the congratulations on Prince's horse of the day win. I was really happy and pleasantly surprised to see him in the spotlight yesterday.
I was wondering if you'd do me a favour? Would you be so kind as to vote for Prince for horse of the month? We need as many votes as we can get this month in order for him to win. He's been on the horse channel for almost a year and a half and he's a very hard worker. He's a Belgian/Welsh pony cross and he's very handsome. I guess he got the best of both breeds. I'm training him and he's extremely smart but he does have a mind of his own. He learns fast but on his own terms. He knows how to rein and we're working on jumping and dressage. Just because he knows it though doesn't mean he'll do it. But that's one of the things I love about him. He sure has character.

I've been alright!How about you? We got snow today..ugh! Thankfully, it melted as soon as it hit the ground, as it was above freezing out! Glad the refresher went well with Star!Awww...yeah I don't know..you think that people will be more eager to buy her if she's prego? In this economy and all maybe....well on the other hand, who DOESN'T want a foal? haha..well I e-mailed my friend's dad, and he said that he has to contact a few people, because he doesn't even know if it's legal for them to have their goats. That's great! Rosie's doing ok. I saw her two days in a row last week and she did ok the first day, but the second day I had my trainer ride her (She was VERY BAD on the lunge line so I had him ride her) and I rode Dude (his other horse) and I had a really bad fall(flat on my back in a cornfield), but Rosie actually did ok with him, so next time I'll definately be riding her. Do not worry!!!! I understand being sick! I have not been on in a couple days anyways :)! Wow! I really appreciate everyone’s support, even though I did not get blogs out for a couple days, you guys still came and voted for Zorro! As I have told many of you, I had the flu! Not fun at all, luckily I did not have a stomach flu! I am feeling much better today (thank goodness). I made up a calc exam yesterday that I missed when I did not go to class on Tuesday, I was happy with my score. I was supposed to have a Sociology exam today, but the class was canceled because the weather prevented my professor from making it in today, that was a nice relief! Also, I was supposed to give a speech today, but we ran out of time in class, so I will not give it until Tuesday. Since I was sick, it is such a relief to have things postponed like this, so I have time to catch up! Well, nothing new happening with the horses, I have not been able to ride with the weather and my flu lately. I have been making a point to go and play with the baby though, I was only not able to one day that I was sick and could not make myself get out of bed, but other than that, I am a dedicated horse person! Well, I got a wonderful quote suggestion from Opie’s owner: The wagon rests in winter, the sleigh in Summer and the horse never...yiddish proverb. You're welcome! I'm so glad she got it,you really deserved it! :)No I haven't changed Rosie's name yet. I still don't have the money to do it.:( haha that does rhyme! You're about the same height as one of my friends! We went on a trail ride once and she was riding this 16.0hh(I'm guessing that's how tall he was..) gelding. It looked so funny;she switched horses later,(the first horse was being bad) onto a slightly shorter horse,but it was funny because she was having a hard time getting her foot in the stirrup even with the second one!
