Not just "poor Barbaro"!!!!!!!!
Seriously!!! Yes he was too young they always are! But the difference between Barbaro and other horses is that he wanted that! Yes it is unfair that horses are forced to gallop so fast so young... if they don't want to. All Barbaro wanted to do was run, and win so they let him! No, I don't totally believe that Gretchen Jackson was so greedy, have you ever seen the Barbaro documentary? Well, His owner sat with him all day somtimes talking to him, just talking too him for hours! so did lots of the grooms, Barbaro was loved dearly his owner wasn't as greedy as you thought!!! I didn't realize she bred him but I know why she did, because she wanted him to live on in every ones hearts and so she wanted him to have foals who when they run every one knew why they were fast, because Barbaro is their dad!Come visit me, Cruise Control, Taco, Farewell Aramis & Lucy and *Linus*.

poor barbaro :(
its a shame that they raced him. A house should never be forced to gallop so fast at such a young age. He was WAY too young to start racing. Let this be a lesson to everybody, never race a horse that is not skelitally ature...which barbaro was not. and always love your horse more than the money that it earns. Gretchen Jackson was so greedy! she only wanted money for stud so she put him through so much pain after his injury. What goes around comes around.Casey, Brookfield, CT.

It's a snow storm here!! LOL!!
The horses are loving it tho...Lady is doing great, she was running like a wild, young, crazy horse out in the snow. I just realized how much teeth she gots for her age. Im glad I've only had her teeth floated once. My mom told me a story about her friend that had a senior horse, and she floated her horse's teeth like three times a year...and than ran out of teeth to float, so they had to put him down at the age of 23yr. =[
