Oh gosh, Im glad he is in a better place right now because its sounds like it would be horible trying to recover from something like that! Losing a horse is really sad, I can't even think about mine dieing without sobbing like he has. A family friend leased her mare to me and she collicked (i dont really know how to spell it lol) and died with the baby after surgery and being on tons of medicatons, some were experimental! All because of one blood clot that they couldn't fix. For such a big, strong animal they sure are fragile. Everything happens for a reason, unfortunatly wether we like it or not. I just imagine a horsie heaven, and with todays conditions, I would much rather have them there waiting for me Come visit me, ABlazing SuperStar.
