How We Met

My little brother wanted a horse, but he wasn't trained at the time so originally we weren't going to get him because of that, but the only reason we got him was if I would train him so that's what has brought my horse and I together..

hey... Here is a vote From Solid Brass
Hey Friends! Me Kahlie here... Come see my horse Solid Brass!***** Words of wisdom from a 12 year old "Who needs Boys, When you have a Horse" LEFT YA A VOTE! You've got a very pretty horse!
P.S Are you feeding him Grain? Miniatures only need 1/2 to 1 cup a day! Any more you could founder them, there are great grains with less starch that you could feed, one I really like is Profile, and I mix it with Moor Glo they both are very low in Starch! But starch is really hard on Minis, so that could be your problem

Welcome to Horsechannel !!
I'm so sorry that he has to suffer with founder.(sorry,I don't have any good advice)Well, there was this new Kind of Feed I've heard about for Horses and ponies. It's a completely new kind of food, and they don't have to eat grain, grass,or hay.(it's all in there.)If you're interested I could look it up in my magazine.I think it was supposed to help with Foundered horses and ponies.Well,he's a real cutie, and here's a vote!! Here's a fav. Poem of mine, and I'm trying to share it with as many people as possible:" All that you need is a horse" When your day seems out of Balance And so many things go wrong... When people fight around you.. And the day drags on so long... When Parents act like Children in-laws make you think "Divorce"... Go out into your pasture and wrap your arms around your horse. His gentle breath enfolds you, and he watches with those eyes, He may not have a PhD, But he is Oh,So wise!! His head rests on your shoulder. You embrace him Oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, And makes it seem all right. Your tears they soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage has been lifted, and you're quiet and at peace. So when you need the balance from circumstances in your day... the best therapy that you can seek... Is out there eating Hay.......... ............ Author Unkown. Also if you're new on here I'd like to warn you that there are people here who take pictures of horses off of the internet or someone's website, make a fake profile of them, and claim for them to be their own!!It is very wrong and we all need to work together to stop it.(If you are having problems with fakes,go to my page, and me and a few others will help you with them.)Remember:DON'T VOTE FOR FAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come visit me, Regal.

Founder
My miniature horse has been suffering with founder for two years now and I have done virtually everything there is to treat it, but nothing seems to work. I have soaked his hooves in warm water, I've walked him, I've kept him inside, I've given him bute and other drugs to increase bloodflow to his hooves, I've asked my farrier whether or not I should put boots on him but he said it wasn't neccessary, I've had the vet out more than once, and I've tried weaning him back to the pasture but it still continues to come back. If anyone has any advice (I don't care how crazy it may sound) please write to me so my horse can get back on his feet. Thanks.

-Ana

Come visit me, Willy, Jake, Ana's dream horse- Night at the Roxberry & TimTam.
