Everyone: first of all, I'm so glad to be back! It has been a long summer, and a hard transition! We finally made it to our new house in Houston just this weekend, and Butterscotch should be here (hopefully) by the end of the month. I am so sorry that I haven't been on in forever, I hope y'all aren't too mad at me! Things have just been so crazy! Hopefully, now that we have internet, I'll be on much more often. Butterscotch is doing very well- for now she is staying with my gparent's in Lindale and lovin' life! I go see her and ride every weekend, and I look forward to having her here with me! Dreamer has finally left the farm: she found a new owner in Arkansas, and is doing very well. I still love her and I wish her the best of luck! BowDex is doing good, too, and is happy in her home. I, my mom, and my step-dad are doing good- we're finding out what it means to be a family (easier said than done!) ha ha! I hope y'all and your equine buddies are doing well! Hey Cara... I just got back from seeing Mia. My dad dropped me off and there was no one else at the stables, even the owners, so it was peaceful. We just hung out for the most part and did some ground work. I got her to jump some barrels with out haveing the halter or any thing on her! Have you heard of Parelli? We do that horsemanship program and it's going great. I also rode her a little bareback around the area. Sorry you haven't been riding any. :( If you like trail riding, you should check out the National Rescue Ride. It is ond day wherre everyone trail rides, or walks and the money goes to abused, neglect, or unwanted horses. Mia was abused. We got her from the Humane Society, but she is so sweet! I customized that purple halter by buying some trim at Wal-Mart and gluing it! I'd seen some darling mini halters that were decorated like that but Peek is a little too big for the mini halter so I made my own. I did another one for my other shetland, Godiva. It's red with white hearts trimmed on it.Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

Hey, Thanks for visiting. Yeah, Pippen's hair is really soft and silky. It takes a bit of work, but I love it. He is just the greatest horse. He has a great personality and he is soo sweet. I put this in my blog 8/7:
Due to circumstances-or should I say doctor's warning!- I will not be able to be on Club Horse every day from now on. See, I take my SO into the doc, he gets the cortisone shot for tendinitis, and comes back out with a message for me. (The doc knows both of us, and asked how I was doing-uh,oh!). I've had 3 of those shots in my right elbow, and 2 in my left. The message was more or less translated out to the effect that if I don't cut down my computer time considerably, NOW, I'm going to have major problems pretty soon, and may not be able to be on one at all! I will be popping in from time to time to see how you all are doing, but all the blogging is hard on me, so when I do, I may have to rotate votes and blogs. I sincerely thank everyone who helped Gypsy get HOTM, and I will try to put some info on the Senior page soon. If I don't blog as much, maybe I'll be able to do more with that. Stormy will keep me up on what's important, and if anyone has any senior questions, I can check my page, and see what I can do to answer any questions. Thanks everyone! I've made a lot of good friends here, and I don't plan on deserting you! I just need a break. I'm like a horse with a ligament or tendon injury- I just need some layup time!

I shouldn't even be on here, but I had to pop in, say hi, and leave a vote! The virtual treat thing kills me, though, so I can't do that everytime anymore. Gypsy's fine, and we've got nice weather, finally, so we've been doing quite a bit of riding. After the farrier comes for her trim, I may try cantering again- I like to make sure everything's exactly right for her before I try,lol! The weather is finally starting to straighten out here, so I may get a chance to ride more, now. I managed to ride between rain showers yesterday, but no sooner turned her out in the pasture, when it started pouring out, so I got soaked between there and the house! Due to time constraints, and circumstances beyond our control, we will be suspending the campaigning for HOTD until further notice. We're very sorry if many of you have felt left out, but that's one of the reasons we're discontinuing it for now, on the grounds it's not really a fair system. We appreciate everyone's support of the campaign, and will let you know if and when it will be resumed. Sorry I haven't been here in a while! It's so hard to keep track of everyone unless they write in my blog! Which 2 horses would you prefer I kept up with the most? Some people, like you, have way too many horses for me to vote for and also blog in, but I'd still like to vote for at least one or 2 of as many as I can.
It's rainy and yucky here today, so I'm stuck in the house. Good thing I got the lawn mowed yesterday. I got Gypsy out for a ride yesterday in between going to town and mowing the lawn, and now I'm doubly glad I did. Today we would like you to meet Mariah Song.Her owner had an ad on the Internet saying she was looking for a young Arab, and a nice lady from a rescue shelter messaged her back and said that she had rescued 4 pregnant mares from being slaughtered and one beautiful stallion, and it turned out that Mariah's mom was one of the lucky four out of 22 to be rescued. Later, Mariah's owner and her dad drove about 3 hours just to look at her. The lady had several beautiful Arab babies she could choose from and Mariah had the cutest personality and all she wanted was attention so her owner chose her! And she NEVER will regret it! The lady gave her Mariah for free because some one had given her, her first horse when she was Mariahs owner's age! Mariah is even registered!!!! She is definitely AN ANSWER TO PRAYER!. yesterday, June 28th, me and my best friend took Nick and Cara for a short ride. we took them down to the river and we had our bathing suits and water shoes on so we took them in and walked them around in it. they loved it! they kept pawing at the water and splashing it everywhere. they also kept eating the grass and weeds. we splashed them and we also got in the water a little. it was fun! sometimes the horses wanted to get out so they started out and we couldnt hold them so they just kinda pulled us out of the water and over the banken. it was funny. hehe! so then wen we left, me and my friend were all wet and so were the horses. but we had a fun time and we will probley go down there again. then after that, we took the up in the state game lands that is near my house for a short ride up a path and back down again. that was also pretty fun. i am always just a little nervous that there might be a bear or something up there so yeah. but earlier that same day my family already took Nick and Cara for a drive so they were already kinda tired so that is why we only took the for a short ride.Come visit me, Cara, Nick, Austin, Mia, Bambi, Candee, Misty & Maddie.

7 year old Medicine Hat Pinto gelding
who was very much loved by his owner.
Boo Boo liked to play and get dirty.
He was ridden western, and loved to eat
everything! Sadly, on April 14,2007,
Boo Boo colicked. The vet came right
away, and though it seemed he was
getting better, he had a stroke, and
