How We Met

I was lloking for a horse that I could afford, so I decided that I wanted to get a breedingstock filly, and when I was Abby, it was love at first sight. My parents loaned me the money, and I worked for my grandma to pay board every month..

I've had her since October, but I rode her for the first time 2 days ago. I had been having trouble getting the bridle on (she reared one time and flipped backwards), but we just had a trainer come out and she's completely turned Dreamer into a different horse! We're fixing to go on a trail ride at a friend's house now...

Welcome to Horsechannel !
She has such a beutiful name!Have a vote! Here's a favorite poem of mine that I'm trying to share with as many people as possible: " All that you need is a horse" When your day seems out of Balance And so many things go wrong... When people fight around you.. And the day drags on so long... When Parents act like Children in-laws make you think "Divorce"... Go out into your pasture and wrap your arms around your horse. His gentle breath enfolds you, and he watches with those eyes, He may not have a PhD, But he is Oh,So wise!! His head rests on your shoulder. You embrace him Oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, And makes it seem all right. Your tears they soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage has been lifted, and you're quiet and at peace. So when you need the balance from circumstances in your day... the best therapy that you can seek... Is out there eating Hay.......... ............ Author Unkown Also,if you're new on here I'd like to warn you that there are people here who take pictures of horses off of the internet or someone's website, make a fake profile of them, and claim for them to be their own!!It is very wrong, and we all need to work together to stop it.(If you are having problems with fakes, you can come to my page, and me and a few others will help you with a few them.)Always Remember:DON'T VOTE FOR FAKES!!!!

Come visit me, Regal.

What a great horse!! :) Have a vote! Also, if you could please vote for two of my very close friends. Both of these horses are great and would love votes and blogs from you. The first horse is Daphne, a one year old Gypsy Horse from OKC, OK. The second one is Blondie Willow Breeze, a four year old Percheron from Belmont, NH. Both of these horses really deserve to win HOTD. :) Please Vote Now! Thanks! Hal & His Gal

Weathering Winter
Abby is out in the "big" pasture with the main herd this winter. She is doing quite well this winter, compared to the previous winters when she had to be put out in the hay pasture with the babies to keep up her weight. This year she is doing well on her own, and although she could stand to gain a few pounds, she doesn't rely on grain as much as she has in the past to keep her going. This is progress! If she keeps this up, I may breed her within the next two years! : )

Come visit me, My Star Abby.
