How We Met
Tank came to my barn a year ago. She used to be my barn manager's horse. Tank used to be a racehorse, but she has breathing problems, so if she got too excited while racing, she couldn't breath. I actually met Tank before she came to my barn. She is being trained in jumping right now and she is really good. Tank is a schoolhorse. I love her a lot and she is a really sweet mare..

8/2/08 HORSE CHARITY EVENT
CANTER-Ohio www.canterusa. org/ohio Great volunteer-only charity, no administrative costs, 100% of everything we raise goes to trailering, vet costs, board, feed, and medicines necessary to rehabilitate retired/rescued racehorses. August 2, 2008 CANTER-Ohio Equine Education Clinic at Cherokee Stables on Borror Road in Grove City, OH 43123. 10 am-2 pm $15 admission, multiple speakers including OSU vet, equine clinic vet, farrier, & an equine massage therapist on hand to cover topics: colic, basic health care & vaccinations, shoeing, & massage, etc. Lots of information for just $15. What a beautiful girl!So she doesn't have breathing problems when she jumps?Have a vote!Here's a favorite poem of mine that I'm trying to share with as many people as possible: " All that you need is a horse" When your day seems out of Balance And so many things go wrong... When people fight around you.. And the day drags on so long... When Parents act like Children in-laws make you think "Divorce"... Go out into your pasture and wrap your arms around your horse. His gentle breath enfolds you, and he watches with those eyes, He may not have a PhD, But he is Oh,So wise!! His head rests on your shoulder. You embrace him Oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, And makes it seem all right. Your tears they soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage has been lifted, and you're quiet and at peace. So when you need the balance from circumstances in your day... the best therapy that you can seek... Is out there eating Hay.......... Author~Mary Ann Miller.. Very Pretty!
