FROM SPIDERMAN Hi: I'm so glad you finally came to visit me and Spider. Yes, we do live close to each other. I'm in Lee's Feed quite often. My name is Sallie, and I am an older lady. I hope that doesn't make a difference to you and you will blog back to me. Although I'm on 10 acres near In N Out Burger in Placerville now, like I said before, I use to live on a cattle ranch on Ponderosa Road, about 1 1/2 miles past the High School. You have probably been down Ponderona Rd and have seen the big pond on the left, now it's grape vineyards. When I grew up there it was one big cattle ranch. I did a lot of showing back then and was very successful. I showed in the Region Three, California State Championship Horse Shows and was fortunate to accomplish the State Champion Trail Horse, Reserve Champion Pleasure Horse, Reserve Champion Equitation Rider, and with combined horse and rider points we were Overall Grand Champion Horse and Rider of the Year. It looks like from your pictures that you show. I'd love to hear about you and your pretty horse, and some of your adventures. Anyway, again, I'm so glad you visited us. Did you know... That president Lyndon B Johnson owned a Arabian Horse? and that Gen U.S Grant recieved two Arabian Stallions Leopard and Linden Tree as a gift, and that he let President Abraham Lincoln ride his horse, Cincinnatus.
