Type of Riding: Appaloosas are used Mainly Western,but of course,they can go English as well!They make good,Dressage,H- unter Jumper,Calf-Rop- ing horses,and are just great All-Around!

Hey!!! I would absolutly LOVE 2 join. I don't have a horse, but appaloosas have ALWAYS been my favorite. I have been babysitting 4 about 2 years (almost every day in the summer) and almost have enough 4 a barn. Do u have a horse? I made a page 4 all appaloosas and have met some GREAT friends who have given me some really useful tips. Did u know that in the 20th century there were less than 200 purebred appaloosas? An "Appy Attack" is a funny saying that is older generation, meaning that when they get stubborn and throw a fit about something, we would comment, "He's having an Appy Attack!" lol.....:) Come visit me, Dixie, In Memory of Sporty & Mare.

Oh, he is! He especially likes kids. We get a lot of novice riders at the lesson barns, and he's so gentle with them. It really improves the kid's confidence! Come visit me, Oreo, Skelter & Annie.

PLZ vote for shaik al bask to remember him
plz vote for shiak al bask,im not trying to hotd or hotw but just to honor my horse because last night i lost him to a drunk driver,the driver lost control and ran through the fence and injuried 5 horses including shaik al bask but there was nothing we could do we had to put them down so please vote for shiak al bask plz.

I just LOVE The Appaloosa Horse!! Would you like to know why?Well,simply because I do!! If you'd like to know,Appaloosas are one of the most long-lived breeds,sometimes with a life span well ending well into their 30's..In Appaloosas,the benefits more than likely out weigh the risks.Even though they are highly succeptible to ERU(Equine Recurrent Uveitis),also called "Moon Blindness",they also have very strong hooves,making them great trail horses.In fact,even I haven't been on a trail ride without one of the riders on an Appaloosa!They can do English or Western,and I can't truly say which they're better at!! i have appys trying to get Walshes Cinnamon HOTD a very deserving Appy she lost her owner last summer he was killed in a car accident she lost s big part of her She has bee nto the Appaloosa YOuth World Show and has earned several lifetime pionts her showing career is now over she is a tribute to a friend that was killed in a car accident we miss him dearly Cinnamon is a loud colored hesnut appy with a very defined balnket and appaloosa history Come visit me, Spirit, Little Belle Bonanza, Ima Fancy Tailwind, Two B Cruzin Zippo (Daddy of B Zippos Hot Rod), Cookie, B Zippos Hot Rod, Lucy, Hershey & Two Star Wonder.
