Louie!!!
Hey! I feel like I have fallen off the face of the earth. We are losing 2 people at work, so it looks like I am going to be picking up the slack with a 7 day work week. Sigh. Just popping in to post some new photos and give a shout out to some of my closer friends. How are you and Louie? Cooper has been to a couple shows this year so far and he is doing GREAT! hey!!!yep,zoeys bday was on the 30th too!!!so happy bday to u too!it got really crappy for a couple days,like in the 30s at night!it sucked majorly.i got to buy some stuff for zoey!i got a sleazy hood,fly spray,bit guards and a snaffle bit, and some shampoo!!yay!hows louie doing??i went and looked at a couple barns and i really liked one of them,but i am going to look at a few more before we pick one!!!zoeys cut is healing fine,its scabbing over again and hopefully the hair starts to grow back.do u know of any good stuff for hair growth??hope to hear from u soon!!!! ♥ Come visit me, Zoey, Western Saddle Needed!! & Zion *I miss you*.

oh, ha, "the boss" was went to Jamesport MO to get some riding geldings shod (sp?) and trimmed. There's an Amish comunity there and the farrier, Eli, is most excellent. lol, and while i'm here blogging I oughta tell you about my experience with the farriers kids. you know Amish customs and so on right? Well, I had my nice digital camera on me and the kids were getting a little roudy so I decided to entertain them for a bit. you should of seen the look on their faces when I showed them how that things works! On boy was absalutely a ham but the younger one was more shy. i put a CUTE pic of one boy trying to drag his brother into the scene and trying to pose at the same time on Dan's profile. take a look! hey!!!yep,spring is definely here!!!zoey and i r lovin it so far!!she loves being turned out with all the moody mares,dont know y cause they all beat her up,lol!!!new cuts everyday!i hosed her off for the first time this spring,yay,less grooming!!!!me and my friends always hose our horses off after their workout instead of grooming,its way easier!!!!!!lol,come back soon!!:) Come visit me, Zoey, Western Saddle Needed!! & Zion *I miss you*.

I hope i can do some horseback camping this summer! sounds like fun! you know, our Amish farrier has this pony that is just the sweetest thing in the world and she only has one eye! She pulls carts and kids flop all over her all the time. infact, i didn't know she had only one eye when the farrier's son brought her out to show me so I just treated her like a normal little thing until i came around to the other side of her face and went "woah... that's natural i guess." lol. well it sounds like he's one happy guy! i hope he gets better about being aproached from behind!Come visit me, Awesome King, Jenna & Awesome Cougarand.

zoey got bit on her back by another horse in the field,no big deal except i cant put the saddle on!i havent even been to the barn since sunday cause i was sick so i hope she is doing ok!...i wanted to move zoey to a new place cause i am not getting any help with training her and i wanted to show this summer or just have her so i could ride her a lot!know what i mean?hows louie doing?love u guys<3comment soon! Moon Blindness
Thanks for the info, I didn't know too much about it before, other than it was a condition that some horses suffer from. I had heard that it was something they caught from cattle. Trauma can cause it too? It sounds like it is like an allergic reaction to the eye! Poor horses. Thank you for helping me expand my horsey knowledge! :) Is Louie completely blind now? How long was he going blind, or did it happen pretty quickly? (Please don't think I'm morbid and dwelling on his condition! LOL!) Give Louie a goodie for me and Clifford a pat!
