Hi again!
Just dropped in. Will give Dakota another vote before I go.
Hoping Ashley will be coming by this evening. That's the plan anyway. I just don't like to ride alone, so it's been a while. I wish my husband were more into riding. He's afraid he will hurt Bo because Bo's not that big. (He's 6') We recently got Daisy because she is big (and we just loved her anyway) but we need to get her worked with by a professional first. I certainly don't want anyone getting on her when we don't really know her. Hi again!
Just thought I'd stop in again. I didn't realize before that you had a bad accident. I know from personal experience that it can be very difficult to get back on after a bad fall. It's good to have a good horse to help you thru. How are you doing now?
Nakoma is my confidence booster. He's a good gentle boy. I still have some fear, but probably because I'm not a spring chicken anymore. I can't afford to be thrown from a horse. I do ride a little now, but not really alone. We have a young lady (Ashley) that likes to come over to play with the horses, and I will sometimes ride around the farm with her a little. She has been working with Cheyenne. That's her in most of the pics on Cheyenne's page.
I hope things continue to look up for you. It kind of goes without saying I'm giving Dakota another vote. Hey! I was wondering if you could come visit Shiloh. Shiloh is the horse I ride and am going to lease in 2 weeks. Shiloh is trying to get HOTD. He is deserving of HOTD because: Shiloh is a quarter horse/fjord cross, I am helping train him, he is super cute, has wonderful ground manners, and is already close to my heart after being in my life for only three weeks. ohh yah
my little paint filly does the same axacted things you do dakota!!!exept in sted of jumping a fence she will sum how i dont no how but sneak under the fence and run all over she looks like a thorobred b/c she is sooo fast and stallky..........she is getting better now b/c we put a wire across the bottem and it is more stronger.so i think she leard her lesson.have a vote from penny and the horse that i was talking about her name is tattor.ttylCome visit me, Hickory, Willow, Lucky, Lil Red, Frankie, Tator, Penny, Oreo & Roxy.

Thanks for spreding the word about Mooney. HFH is running out of foster parents for rescue horses and telling people about it would help alot. Dreamer is being donated back to HFH. She is fully broke but her mom that adopted her got x-rays done on her legs and she is lame in the two front legs. Not limp lame but bumed out lame, And her adoption mom dosent want to take her on the long trailrides up in the hill country. She is afraid that dreamer will step wrong and brake her leg.Come visit me, Tom & Dreamer "Please Adopt Me".

Its fuuny becasue i broke my arm falling off of this crazy horse and than my friends had this horse named Dakota and that who i rode to bost my confidence. Man- i feel pathetic compared to what happened to you!
