My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Compete, especially at the Pleasure gait(our fastest gait) and follow me anywhere I go.

Pet Peeves: Trail walking....he doesn't like to go slow. He also doesn't like many people to ride him.

My Horse's motto: Show gait, Pleasure Gait, as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the Red Man, I am, I am.

How We Met

The horse was brought to the barn for my trainer to certify and my trainer said he would make me a good juvenile horse. So, my parents took me to look at him. The minute he and I saw each other we were bonded. As high strung as he seems, the owner tied a haystring to his halter and threw me up on him and we took off to the end of the field. He was so gentle with me as if he knew he needed to be careful with me. We bought him in 1999 and I began showing him immediately. He always came down a notch for me until I was confident enough to ask him to step up. He will follow me wherever I go without a halter or rope. He is one of the most amazing animals to ever live. If you look at the pictures at the bottom of the page you can see our progression through the years..
