How We Met

Well... Down the road from my house is a dairy farm. And my mom and I drove past the one day and noticed they had about 20-30 horses all in 1 field! Well she caught my eye! She was standing tall up on the hill and her colors just stuck out from the rest! And so I talked to my stepdad and he said go and take a look and we will talk about it. So I called the people that had them and they said to just come down and take a look cause they were going to go to an auction on thursday! So my friend and I drove down and I fell in love with her!! The next day I went back down while the owners were there and rode her around a little and I said I still had to talk to my parents and I would let them know! So I called them thursday and they said they already took them to the auction but if I want her forsure they can bring her back up!! So I said yes definatly bring her up!(Someone called the Humane Society on them cause they didnt take good care of their horses)! So they brought her up friday and the guy called and told me she is limping a little bit but should be ok! Well they deliever her to my house and she is literatly hopping on 3 legs! The hind leg was so swollen we couldnt tell if it was broke or what! We called the Vet asap! It wasnt broken but in bad shape! It cost us $150 and we had the people we bought her off of give us the $150 back cause when we decided we wanted her, she wasnt injured! And in March I kept sayin to my parents I think shes pregnant! And everyone was just like there is noway she is!! Well April 6,2008 she had a colt. His name is Kentucky!!


(Just to get an idea of how bad the living conditions were before i bought her are the pictures with all the burs in her mail and tail!!!)
I saved her because the auction they were taking her to there is always alot of meat buyers there! And if I didnt get her the baby wouldnt of been born! :(.
