How We Met

Well, I first got this horse from my mom, who bought it from a friend. It was the best day of my life. Even though I was dreaming for a tall elegant warmblood, Willie was all of that for me. I loved him the second I met him, but I didnt think he felt the same. So, one day, we went on a trail ride as i led him through the woods on foot. Just to bond a little. We were about the aproach a queit dirt road that hadent been used in a long time, when willie began to flick his head around and stop. I tried to keep him moving but i could'nt! He did his tiny half rears and everything! I was frustrated so i wait for him to calm down, which never happened. So I was guessing it was the road that scared him. so I walked on it and showed him it was okay. He was still scared and wouldnt move forward, and i could tell he was angry at me for going on the road. Then suddenly, a car came spinning around the corner of the road right at me! I didn't see it until a few seconds before it was too late. I screamed and didnt have time to move. But then willie bit the edge of my jeans and tugged me over to him with a big jerk for. I stumbled and hit the ground and laid there for a second realizing what happened as the car sped away. He just saved my life. And for that, I knew he loved me back!.
