Breed: Appaloosa Horse
Height: I don't know, but I can get on her from the ground.
Color: Star is a Leopard Appaloosa with chestnut spots over her white/gray body. She also has some roan characteristics- .
Type of Riding: I ride Star Western. Maybe if she gets a little better I'll try English (Maybe though!). After a ride with a saddle I sometimes ride bareback.
My Horse's Achievements: Star used to be the most stubborn horse, but she got her teeth fixed and is now the sweetest horse! She still bucks, but now she is getting better!!!
My Horse's Favorite Treat: Star pretty much likes any food, but in some of the pictures I have she is eating hay.
My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Star loves eating. She also likes acting up on me (sometimes).
Pet Peeves: Sometimes the bit, being caught from her pasture, cantering (especially left lead), and loud noises.
My Horse's motto: In my world, I eat when I want, I get ridden when I want... I rebel. My world will become reality...

How We Met
Star is actually not my horse. I kept switching around horses which I rode, and then I finally came to Star. She is often times stubborn, and she used to buck a lot when I asked her to canter, but now she is starting to listen and understand better and sometimes only won't canter right when I ask or she doesn't pick up the correct lead I'm asking for. She is nice and has her own specific personality, and although she sometimes bucks when I ask her to canter,she is a great horse. Well, she bucks, but that makes sense... Star Bucks! I really want to lease her though, so then we could become closer..

Star!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw Star on the 29th. She never bucks anymore and I got her to pick up a smooth canter!!! Yay! She is doing soooo well! I love her soooooo much and am so proud of her! I love her! Star
I saw her on Tuesday! She worked really well, I almost never had to use a crop on her to get her to go. (only about 4 times! That's a record I think!) I almost fell off though. lol. I was cantering and I was leaning too far forward. Tee Hee. I won't do that next time! It freaked me out, even though I've fallen off before. Anyway, thanks everyone for voting. I am aiming for horse of the day sometimes soon, but I need all the help I can get. Sure Star may not seem gorgeous to you, but she's a truly deserving horse, and I think she's gorgeous! I saw Star today, and she was very good. She hardly bucked, but she just wouldn't go! That's an improvement though...right? She's getting better and better...and I love her! I saw Star several days ago!
I saw Star a few days ago pretty early in the morning...and apparently she is NOT an early person! She was cantering away from me when I tried to catch her, and she kept bucking when I was riding her. She is apparently not an early bird (horse)! I'm seeing her again on Thursday... so I'll update!Come visit me, Star.

I am going to see Star!
Hi everyone! I'm going to see Star on the 17th, and if I can I will take more pictures (no guarantee, sorry)but I will definitely update you on what a great horse she is! I saw Star several days ago!
Hi everyone! I saw Star the other day, and will see her again on the 17. I rode western on her for a while and cantered some. At the beginning of the ride, Star was a little stubborn, but she just kept getting better and better. I had never used the whip on her that time, and she cantered fine! I then put the whip down, and I still never needed it during the rest of the ride! We then practiced goat tying (well, I didn't tie the goat, but I got off while she was moving), but I wasn't very good at it. :P I'll try again some other time! Then we rode bareback, and talked to some other riders. Then I took off her bridle to let her roll, and she didn't feel like it. When I had turned to walk away so she could roll... she just followed me! I think that Star is really starting to like me, and I am really starting to think, that though seemingly rough on the outside, she's pure gold on the inside.Come visit me, Star.

Please!
Those of you who are skimming around looking for a horse to vote for, don't pass up Star! She may not be the prettiest horse out there, but she is not a fake. Even though she bucks, she is a great horse. Though she loves eating most, she loves almost all she does. Please vote for Star, she hasn't been voted for in a while. I visited Star today!
Hi everyone! I visited Star today! I also rode her. She trotted nicely for me, but she bucked when I tried to canter. I think she was just having a bad day... but when I turned her out she went straight for food! She just wanted to eat! O' >O< <% Just to let you know, there is a horse named Poco that lives at the same place as Star. He is really old and has a painful leg. If you could just keep him in your prayers and if you could vote for him (His profile creater is from Lake Tapps, WA, he is chestnut, and he is a gelding) that would really be nice. Jackson for HOTM in July ***Please Vote!!!*****
Jackson is running for HOTM in July. I would really like it if he got HOTM in July because we did not get it in June. Some facts about him are that he is a 16.2 and 1/8 hands high Oldenburg.
