This show was a lot bigger than the one in Oct. He was very naughty in the first class, so I was very suprised that he got a ribbon! Rearing, whinning, not standing still at all!!! Stinker! So unlike him, so maybe it was just him being mad, away from the barn and his buddies!!!4-25-- 09

UPDATE: I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist. It is very painful to be on the computer for too long. My blogs will have to short and sweet and c/p which I know nobody likes. Raining. It's suppose to rain through Saturday. Got a lot done on the shed, but the sides haven't been put on it. Still need shingles, too. Had Austin pick up a tarp in town and covered the floor of it, and Rick and I put the sides in his metal container. Should be able to get it finished weekend after this one. Sounds like a great work out, Jack went to the vet today Dr. Jeff was tickled how far he has came, now if he would do some serious eating with out me stuffing it down his face I think he would speed up his recovery, I finally had to physically lay him down tonight, he was so tired from not laying down he looked like the leaning tower of Pessa. rode Lilly yesterday and played with her in the arena I am looking forward to taking along ride on her without the goat boys here in the near future.Love Suz and Lilly Come visit me, Lilly.

Happy Tuesday. I am happy to say, we got lucky. No snow, but I am waiting for the winds. I am just west of the storm, so feel really lucky. I thought it would warm up a bit. I want a good pair of western riding boots. I'll live in them. Lol. I'm not sure when Rick will get the shed up. With the Super Bowl, and the upcoming events, he has to work overtime. He works at a grocery warehouse. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, any day that includes food and alcohol, means no days off. He does have Friday, but says he's not doing anything. Understandable, but hard to wait. Austin and I went out to checkout the spot where I want it. Need to level the ground, Getting a good shovel this weekend, so I can start on it. I worked from 2 to close, Tuesday, but still had a nice birthday. Got a $20 tip. I told Rick I wanted money for boots. He said he wasn't giving me that much. Said he'd help put the shed up. That works. Austin works on the days I don't, so it's been hard to work on it. With the Super Bowl coming here, Rick's working overtime. Going to be crazy here. The traffic's going to be ridiculous. Jack the goat is holding his own, started him on PenG still getting B vitamin and Banamine every 3rd day he showed more movement today then he has in a while, still not up of course but he moved his head a little and his legs which he has not done in a couple days and of course can't eat yet so still force feeding, so keep praying !! we had over a inch and 1/2 of rain in 12 hours but saw a little sun today, Im so tired and have lost 7 lbs from this emotional roller coaster with Jack when I'm upset my appetite shuts down,Lilly is needing some me time, but it's been hard, took her for a walk Sun it was short, and today but again very short. love Suz and Lilly Come visit me, Lilly.

Just got back from the morning feeding at the barn, Jack is not responding to the shots, he is all curled up in a ball, I think it is a matter of time today, I am so disappointed at my self that I did not know about this deficancey of Vitamin B can occur in goats, and that I could of have prevented this, one of the signs is when they arch their head to their backs, I just thought the was stretching,I question myself weather I should have animals, can't stand the sadness of having my heart hurt so bad, it's hard enough with loosing a human why do we put our selves through this with animals ? Probably because the Joy of having them in our families out weighs the pain of loosing them. feeling SAD in Mosier love Suz and Lilly Come visit me, Lilly.

Rick saw the fork lift driver hitting the door frame. He said the man ran into it at least 3 times, then had to go out a side gate. I didn't see it, because I was checking out the display shed. Lowes told Rick they found another shed in stock. They're delivering it in the morning and not charging me for the delivery. Going to put it up behind Rick's metal storage container. Morning, it's been an emotional exhausting week, Jack one of Lillys companion goats came down with Goat Polio, it's not pretty we are trying the vet and I are trying to save him but it might be to far advanced, I think he must have gotten it from some grain I feed them and always have, but it has molasses on it and I did research and it says grain with molasses can get mold spores om them, why do they sell such a product then, I am so sick about this and did not know better. Jack got super dozes of everything yesterday and every 2-3 hours through out the night I have been trying to syringe water down his throat and stuff cooked carrots and beet pulp into his mouth, he try to eat hay but it just hangs out in a slimy mess, gonna try and puree up some greens that are high in Vitamin B because they loose that when Goat polio is present and it affects their nervous system, and then I will syringe it down his throat to,not I don't want to give up on him if he is not giving up but I don't want him to suffer either. I posted a picture of the display of the shed I bought. When we got the shed home, unassembled, of course, I found it was damaged. The man, operating the forklift, kept running into the door frame with it when he was bringing it out of the store. I called Lowes. They're out of stock. I bought the last one, so they're ordering me one online with the refund from the shed I bought today. They're suppose to wave the shipping cost. I have to buy shingles for it. I did buy particle board for the floor. Going to have to anchor it, too, because those summer monsoon winds are what wrecked my other shed. Love to each of you and a vote. I'm anxious to get the hay shed. I'm looking at a couple. Interested in the 4' x 8' lean to. It's wood and is only $397 plus tax, of course. I buy 3 bales of hay every 2 weeks. it's a gray day here today but suppose to hit mid 40* we'll see, heading back up to the shop to work on organizing it, I have pulled so much ridiculously old, "garbage out of ther, broken this, broken that, guess that generation that went through the deppression just had a hard time letting go, and the next generation didn't want to deal with it ! love Suz and LillyCome visit me, Lilly.

Lilly's doing great, we rode yesterday, and are getting a peak at the Sun today, started work on the orchard today, started cleaning the shop OMG stopped after two hours , started getting grumpy from all the ^&$%#! that has accumulated, married into the farm, so I have a hard time believing how it could have gotten this way, I was raised to keep things clean and organized so this challenge is gonna be hard for me, think I will maybe go for a ride in a while to get rid of my grumpy attitude ! hahaha Love Suz and Lilly Come visit me, Lilly.

Hi Zip, here's a vote for ya. Sorry about Diane's dad! Prayers that your mom will come through this with flying colors. Yep, just turn around and drop everything and hit the barn and hug the horses! It'll be the best medicine for you! Well, I thought that if Kevin and I left as early as we could to go down and pick up Beast, I would beat the snow and ice storm. Heck no, started just after we got down to the Ziebart Place. Of course they still had about 30 minutes to leave the truck in the drying cooker and put the window vent shades on for me. Drove home in yuk! Slow and steady and by the time I got up to about 5 miles from my farm, roads weren't touched and my road had about 3 inches of wet slippery snow on it. Put in M 3rd gear and Beast climbed the long steady hill with no problem, but I wouldn't want to do it in any really deeper snow. So needless to say, kids didn't get any indoor time, but they got their lunch hay and water about 3 pm when I got home. Now hopefully tomorrow it'll be rain and wash away this stuff before the deep freeze starting on Tuesday, cause then it'll be all ice! Guess I might have to plow the driveway tomorrow! Long afternoon and evening at work. 10 hours with no break. Was busy the whole time. Didn't sit down from the time I got out of the car when I arrived at work, until I got back in to leave. Happy New Year Eve, very cold vote, it is 19* here in Mosier no wind so thats a blessing but as you can imagine it is frozen solid around here, Lilly and the goat boys seem to be doing good with it though, we just do a very short walk to stretch our legs, got bite by a tick yesterday, I have never had a tick bite hurt like this one, it was really tiny so I kept it and am watching the site for a bullseye around it but so far so good just swollen, yesterday I was running my fingers through Lillys hair on her chest ,she kept backing up I thought she might have a sore spot or something because she kept doing it and her eye's were as big as saucers, finally figured out I was shocking her from the static electricity duhh, I felt really bad !
