♥ Thanks! Good luck with showing and cantering... hmm, maybe once Butter's is up here she and I could start showing in Western Pleasure, that'd be so much fun! I've had one girl ask me to give her lessons in Western, which is interesting, and I could make money to help pay for Butterscotch's feed and boarding, but if I start giving lessons down the road I'd have to get a larger horse... I don't want to ask too much of poor Butterscotch, because she's 18 or maybe 19 now (she doesn't have papers) and she's small. I never work her too hard and I don't make her canter that often, we just have fun! Right now I have my eyes on one of my trainer's fillies- she's 2 years old, a red and white paint with a white mane that has red highlights, and she's SOOOO smart! My mom said maybe I can get her once she's trained, which will be a LONG while from now, so that'd be awesome! Maybe in a year I'll have her... though that is VERY wishful thinking, lol I don't even know if my trainer will sell her or not! ♥ Thanks! Yes, I certainly hope Butters will do well up here. My moms a little worried about pasture boarding her with other horses, but I'm sure she'll have those horses in line in no time, lol!!! Yes, it was certainly sad to see Dreamer leave, but also good. God blessed me with her (exactly one year ago, actually), and it's amazing how much has happened since then. But she obviously either wasn't happy or just didn't want to behave, and either way, I know she is happy in her new home. I wasn't there to see her off (I didn't want to start crying), but apparently she just got right in the trailer and has been doing very well with her new owners in Arkansas, and I'm glad. She is VERY talented, and she is one smooth ride, plus she has GREAT bloodlines, so if they want to show her, and if she behaves, she could have a very promising career ahead of her! Hey! I'm finally back! Please read my letter below if you get the chance- it explains why I've been gone so long! Here's a vote for ya, please comment back if you can! Everyone: first of all, I'm so glad to be back! It has been a long summer, and a hard transition! We finally made it to our new house in Houston just this weekend, and Butterscotch should be here (hopefully) by the end of the month. I am so sorry that I haven't been on in forever, I hope y'all aren't too mad at me! Things have just been so crazy! Hopefully, now that we have internet, I'll be on much more often. Butterscotch is doing very well- for now she is staying with my gparent's in Lindale and lovin' life! I go see her and ride every weekend, and I look forward to having her here with me! Dreamer has finally left the farm: she found a new owner in Arkansas, and is doing very well. I still love her and I wish her the best of luck! BowDex is doing good, too, and is happy in her home. I, my mom, and my step-dad are doing good- we're finding out what it means to be a family (easier said than done!) ha ha! I hope y'all and your equine buddies are doing well! Thanks for the votes! EquiSpot in a "spot on" fly control option for horses- it's kinda like Frontline for horses, lol, except you don't buy it at the vet (you can buy it at feed/tack stores). It comes in individual orange tubes and you apply it down they're back and legs, plus on they're forehead and down their mane. It controls bugs for 2 weeks, and it works REALLY well. Dreamer just doesn't like it becuz she HATES getting wet for some reason, Butterscotch though has started doing better with it. It's cool stuff, and I'm sure your horses will do fine with it if you wanted to try it! Well, I'll ttyl, here's a vote!
