Horse Slaughter
I guess I won't be very popular after this, but I am not against horse slaughter. However, I do think we should have some regulations regarding the methods used, and some sort of humane way of getting it done. I've seen horses that just aren't worth keeping. You know they can't all be saved, just like dogs and cats. If there was slaughter allowed in our country instead of them having to be sent to Mexico, maybe there would be a better system. There, I love my horses, but I am not opposed to slaughter. But...I'll keep my horses till they die, not pass them on for who-knows-what end.

I definately am wanting to try out Natural Horsemanship, and I would love to invest in the Parelli DVD set, but lol I'm broke right now! Ha ha! How's the amazing Bo doing? Here's a vote! Did I get the smiley face right?lol! --- ♥ Hey everybody! Sorry I'm just now getting on! My mom and I ended up having to stay in Houston until Wednesday, and I didn't have ANY access to internet. Then, when we got back on Wednesday night, I was out in the horsepen with Butterscotch and Dreamer (I sure missed them!) and I stepped in Bull Nettle. It got all over my foot, leg, and toes. 30 minutes later, I started having a bad allergic reaction: my foot/leg got swollen, my face got swollen, I started running fever, my lips got numb, and I broke out in a rash all over my body. So I spent from 12-3 am in the emergency room: NOT FUN! I was ok, and the reaction calmed down after a little bit, but I spent Thursday resting. Again, sorry I'm just now getting on! It'd be so much easier if I had internet at my house, but sadly, I don't! well i bet thats fun! I live on a farm with around 40 horses, (most arent ours,they're boarded or leased) We mostly do jumpers,but also some dressage and cross country. At my farm we're not all about the showing stuff,i mean we go to alot of shows,but we love to have campouts around the farm. oh and we always love western weekend! thats where anyone from the barn comes over and they learn (from a pro western rider) how to ride the basics of western riding. like neck reining etc.do you wanna work with horses when you get older? Thanks! I sometimes ride in capris in the saddle too, cuz my boots cover the rest of my legs. However, I try to only ride in shorts bareback becuz my jeans are so slick I usually go flying at a trot (lol that happened last time I went bareback in jeans on Butter, in fact). In the winter I'll probably wear jeans though, cuz I won't really have a choice. So how ya been doing lately? Here's a vote for Bo! Thanks! I'll definately give them an apple from ya! Lol I have 2 horses right now: Dreamer and Butterscotch, but BowDex is the horse that we may hopefully be getting soon. I take care of all our horses and animals, but I normally ride Butter and my papa rides Dreamer (lol though he usually makes me bridle her cuz she can be such a pain sometimes!!!). If we get Bow, she'll be like me and my gma's horse, cuz my gma just wants to learn to ride but I want to learn to barrel race, so... Well, I guess I'll ttyl, here's another vote for Bow!!! I got Gypsy out and brushed her today and trimmed her bridle path. I think she enjoyed the extra attention! Due to time constraints, and circumstances beyond our control, we will be suspending the campaigning for HOTD until further notice. We're very sorry if many of you have felt left out, but that's one of the reasons we're discontinuing it for now, on the grounds it's not really a fair system. We appreciate everyone's support of the campaign, and will let you know if and when it will be resumed. Bo is so cute!
Well... Stormy isnt green broke... He was from amish country they worked him very VERY hard everyday, he had a tough life, But hes just barn sour form not wanting to work bec. of all the working in amish country. To bad i only lease him for a month :( Cyan is a very pretty boy, I love that picture of him, he looks so elagant an d proud. and sorta like whats that is that a treat? well, ttyl!
