Type of Riding: I used to ride Lu bareback and western (trails and short rides around the yard) for not too long because she has allergies which have turned into horrible heaves. We may not be able to keep her much longer because of this... But she can still be used as an early spring broodmare and throws BEAUTIFUL foals (see pictures)

My Horse's Achievements: Lu-Lu is a master pony escape artist- she can get out of almost any fence if she feels like it. She also, somehow, suckered her way into being a lawn ornament most her life because of her heeves.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: Lu-lu likes cookies, apples, grass and toast- Hay works up her heaves so she generally has grass and soaked alfalfa cubes.

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Nothing at all. She likes to pick on other horses but only if she has a bigger, intimidating side kick.

Pet Peeves: Lu-Lu hates it when other horses try to steal her babies!

How We Met

Our neighbors sold her to me when I was 5, she was an easter gift. I had always wanted my own pony because when we went riding I'd have to ride double with my mom and my brother had his own horse, so he didnt have to "share" a horse. Naturally, this made me want my own pony twice as much!.
