Horse of the Week: Spurt

By KyEHC

KyEHC Horse of the Week: Spurt
-Thoroughbred
-Mare
-Bay
-8-year-old
-15.1hh

Spurt retired from racing with a fractured sesamoid that is now completely healed. She is looking forward to finding a new home and second career. Spurt is adjusting very well to life away from the track and has settled in quite nicely. She loves attention and will make someone a very nice show or pleasure horse.

For more information on Spurt or any of the other horses at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center, visit http://www.kyehc.org/.

Very Nice to see a retired racehorse as HOTW--very lovely horse, wish I had more room, butt there's always that chance for dreams coming true! Thank you for the exposure :)
