Horse of the Week: Demi

By KyEHC

KyEHC Horse of the Week: Demi
-Quarter Horse
-Mare
-Sorrel
-13-Year-Old
-14 hh

Demi was formerly a pleasure horse. She somehow wrapped her back legs in barbed wire resulting in slight scars but no permanent injuries. Demi is very easy to groom, stands well for the farrier and gets along with geldings and mares. She also likes treats and thrives on attention. Demi is a full-figured gal who enjoys every meal so she will need to wear a muzzle when the grass is lush. Demi will be suitable for pleasure or trails. Due to her age, she will not have a career as a show horse. Demi needs an experienced, confident rider who will make sure she knows who is in charge. Demi is very well trained; she neck reins, knows all of her leg ques and is used to being ridden in a western saddle.

It sounds like she'll be a great companion for someone out there! She'll be scooped up in no time!
