I am 57 years old and I have always ridden in a western saddle. Recently I purchased a young horse and my niece’s friend is helping me train her. She is riding her in an English saddle. This has definitely sparked a great interest for me to learn how to ride English and possibly show this mare in English events. To increase my knowledge of this riding style, I will need English lessons and of course an English saddle. Due to my numerous years of experience with solely western trail riding, this would be an exciting undertaking for me and my horse.
