Nokota Horses to Star at Breyerfest

This summer, the Nakota horse will shine as Breyerfest's featured breed.

It’s been announced that the rare Nokota horse will be the featured breed at this summer’s Breyerfest. The annual model horse extravaganza, which melds collectible horsekeeping with real-life equines, will be held in July at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. Breyer has also commissioned a special model of a blue roan Nokota stallion. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the model will go directly to the Nokota Horse Conservancy to help protect and sustain the endangered breed. For more information on the Nokota horse, visit www.nokotahorse.org.

Nokotas are a fascinating bredd! I commend Breyer for giving them this exposure and helping raise both breed awareness and funds for these unique animals.
