2008 USEF Youth Convention Sign Up

Convention will help grow interest in equestrian-related activities among youth.

Registration is open for the first of what hopes to be an annual United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Youth Convention, to be held Jan. 12 in Louisville, Ky. According to the USEF, half of the available spots have already been filled.

The goal of this one-day convention is to unite youth from around the country and help grow interest in equine-related activities and sport.

The Youth Convention will feature many notable speakers, including experts in the equine industry, as well as spokespersons from equine-related careers.

Registration includes admittance to the keynote address, choice of which panels to attend, a question and answer session with high profile equestrian athletes, as well as opportunities to gain insight from various career spokespersons and college equestrian program representatives. The event also includes a light breakfast, lunch and closing dinner and dance. Each attendee will receive a gift bag filled with merchandise as well.

To register, visit the USEF website at www.usef.org and click on the Youth Council logo, which opens the 2008 Youth Convention Registration Form. Registration forms can either be emailed or mailed to the USEF. Complete details and information on the convention are also listed.
