This is a 3 y/o Peruvian Paso Mare in Bozal which is the first stage of training in the Peruvian breed. Typically horses are in the bozal for about a year before they are gradually introduced into the bit.

I love riding in the bosal and don't think a horse should have to have a bit in their mouth. I was watching his topline, it never moves. So smooth to ride.
