1st attempt at western jumping

first time i have ever attempted jumping, on purposewe didnt really jump high or really at all.but we tried. so if you have any tips they will be greatly appreciated

I think it is pretty cool that you tried jumping in your western saddle. The only jumping I have done is in a Aussie saddle, and yes, it has a horn on it. Sometimes you just have to use what you have. Besides, lot of people jump in western saddle...namely cowboys!!!!! I hope you stick with it...I am!

You have a really good form but how bout you try that in an english saddle or bareback? Western saddles are not good to jump in because they can hurt your horse's back and the horn can hit you in the ribs. Just to be safe:) but you have great form and nice hand form too.

It is dangerous to jump western because the horn can hit your ribs and break them so i suggest jumping in a hunter saddle or bareback, just to be safe!:)
