After the Power Float

Sterl May got into a bit of trouble with her teeth this spring. She had her regular float done in April, but she had a couple of problem areas, as a result she was having a hard time chewing her hay, she also takes meds for Cushings Disease and she had a bit of a set back there as well. Her vet decided that it was best to get her meds straightened out and then do a power float on the old "choppers" This is Sterly 45 minutes after the float, looking good my girly.

I hope Sterly is doing better. Not being able to eat is a great worry.

I sure hope everything gets straightened out. It would break my heart if it was Luna. Sterly's such a sweetie. It's nice seeing her eat, but I hope she will be able to handle forage like that again. I am praying for her!

I wish I could say she kept that up, it only lasted for a couple of hours while they were outside, when she came in that night, she didn't eat any, I even opened a new bale of this years hay, not a chance...I hope it straightens out soon, this is hard on me...
