First time trotting my young horse under sadddle

Sorry about the video my man was filming and he had a dog and a horse at his feet..This is my young OTTB and he needs lots of leg and I have been out of the saddle for 12 years, also my left foot is injured and still sits high.

I don't suggest trotting your horse i the snow, he could slip.

About halfway through this video, your horse looks like he wants to trot, but needs a little encouragement. But he doesn't do too badly considering all the distractions: the dog, the cameraman, the other horse, etc. He's a lovely mount, BTW, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your personalized saddle pad! I only have one suggestion for you---lengthen your stirrups a bit. Your leg needs to hang longer on his sides so he gets a better leg signal from you. Other than that, good job!
